How to use a Bluetooth footswitch or MIDI controller?

Jamzone supports Bluetooth footswitches and MIDI controllers so you can control playback, loops, and other functions hands-free. This article explains how to set up and use them.

To use a Bluetooth footswitch:

1. Pair the footswitch in iOS Settings > Bluetooth
2. Open Jamzone, the footswitch will work if it sends standard key commands (like spacebar or arrow keys)

To use a MIDI controller (Pro only):

1. Connect your controller using a Lightning or USB-C adapter
2. Open Jamzone > Settings > Manage Shortcuts
3. Tap Add a Shortcuts Set
4. Assign MIDI triggers to in-app actions (play, next song, mute click, etc.)

Tips

• Most AirTurn pedals work automatically if they send common key commands.
• MIDI mapping is only available with a Pro subscription.
