Stage Mix Pro in Jamzone is a Pro feature that lets you create custom audio routing for each song, sending individual tracks (drums, bass, vocals, click, etc.) to separate outputs on your audio interface.
This is ideal for live performances, monitoring setups, or recording sessions that require precise routing.
Note: This feature is only available on macOS and iOS with a Pro subscription and a connected multi-output audio interface.
To access Stage Mix Pro
- Open any song.
- Tap the Mixer icon.
- Tap the Routing icon (it turns brown when a custom routing is saved).
- Jamzone will detect all available outputs from your connected interface.
- Assign each track (e.g. click, drums, bass, keys) to your desired output.
You can route tracks freely or choose from pre-built presets.
Stage Mix Pro presets
- Default: Standard stereo mix using two outputs.
- Stage Mix: Click to one channel, everything else to the other.
- Cascade: Each track routed to a separate channel (when 4+ outputs are available).
- Multi Tracks: Groups instruments by type into dedicated outputs.
- Clear All: Removes all routing assignments.
- Reset: Reverts to your global routing settings.
Presets automatically adapt based on the number of outputs available on your interface.
After routing
- Your routing is saved per song.
- Jamzone remembers routing per interface, allowing different setups depending on your gear.
- The Routing icon stays brown when a custom routing is active.
To disable custom routing for a song, open the routing panel and tap Reset.
Tips
- Test your outputs before a live performance to ensure proper monitoring.
- Label your cables or mixer channels to match your routing (e.g. Out 1 = Click, Out 2 = Bass).
- If you only use 2 outputs, the Stage Mix preset is a simple and effective solution.
- Keep your interface connected before launching Jamzone to switch quickly between songs with different routings.
