How to create and assign custom keyboard or MIDI shortcuts on MacOS (Pro)?

With a Pro subscription, Jamzone lets you create fully customized shortcut sets on macOS using your keyboard or a MIDI controller.

To create a new shortcut set

1. Go to Settings > Manage Shortcuts.
2. Click Add a Shortcuts Set.
3. Name your set and save.

To assign a shortcut

1. Select an action (e.g. Play/Pause, Next song, Mute Click).
2. Press a key or send a MIDI signal.
3. Click Activate to apply your custom set.

You can create, rename, or delete shortcut sets at any time.

Tips

• Only one shortcut set can be active at a time.
• Use this feature with a Bluetooth pedal, drum pad, or MIDI foot controller for more flexibility.
• All shortcut settings are saved locally on your device.
